Machine Capability of Fine Pitch Placers

Placement Accuracy with Glass dummies

Goal : Evaluate the positionning accuracy of the placement machine using Glass dummies from CeTaQ and a glassboard

Measured Parameters : X,Y coordinates and Theta

Necessary Materials : CmController, Glassboard, Glass dummies from CeTaQ

Duration : between 1 and 4 hours depending on fine pitch placers.


Placement Accuracy with life components

Goal : Evaluate the positionning accuracy of the placement machine using life components and a glassboard

Measured Parameters : X,Y coordinates, Theta, Side overhang, Toe Overhang...

Necessary Materials : CmController, Glassboard, life components (like QFP, PLCC, SOT, SOIC)

Duration : between 1 and 4 hours depending on fine pitch placers.

IPC-9850 with CeTaQ Tools

Goal : Evaluate the equipment according to IPC-9850 (positionning accuracy, transfer time etc...)

Measured Parameters : see IPC-9850 for more detailed information

Necessary Materials : CmController, glass board and glass components designed by CeTaQ according to IPC-9850.

Duration : between 3 and 6 hours depending on fine pitch placers.

Z-force measurement under process conditions

Goal : Evaluate the placement pressure of placing heads/nozzles

Measured Parameters : Pressure 

Necessary Materials
: Complete set from CeTaQ for Z-force measurement, glass components from CeTaQ or life components.

Duration : between 1 and 3 hours depending on fine pitch placers.
